Been silent for a while. Silence makes me feel weird so I'll talk now. The past week has been absolute bliss. It has been so good it almost makes me question my escape from the country. Almost. I have some pretty awesome friends and they live so close to me. And we're rubbish at cooking, baking and leading decent lives but we're kind of buff. So it all just comes down to this. I will miss Sweden when I leave this time. I think I actually will. Which of course is a good thing, but still.
Anyway, I'm moving to London in two weeks. There are no words to describe the feeling inside of me. It's such a total tranquility state of mind I feel like I'm floating on water 24/7. Accept for today when I'm arsed hungover after a weird night out.
I bought two notebooks today. Why, of all addictions, did I become addicted to notebooks? Well, these are pretty neatly illustrated in some kind of modern minimalistic way with the flipside being cheerful truths (one might argue) on the front cover.
to fear love is to fear life And those who fear life are already Three part dead The creative person is both more primitive and more cultivated, more destructive, a lot madder and a lot saner than the average person.
In motionPosted by Stella Mon, August 09, 2010 18:01:49 .. Way Out West Dynamite.
Time to catch a train and join the joyride. God that sounded tacky.
Well I'm catching train anyway, equipped with the lightest packing of my life. JD is one of many who has experienced my lousy packing issues. One night in Stockholm equals a bag crammed with different outfits and underwear enough to supply half the city for at least a week. Not this time. I've got a backpack and nothing more. Im surprising myself at the same time as I'm boring myself to death by writing about it.
Well, the fuse is lit I'm heading to see Iggy Pop, Local Natives, Mumford & Sons (veckans baby boo), LCD Soundsystem and so on so on on this great line-up.
In motionPosted by JD Mon, August 02, 2010 02:27:25 Sofia Molin from Scania was in Stockholm this weekend and so we met up yesterday to catch up over a couple of beers and some fags. But as usual we talked mostly about the good old days in London town and I came to think of this little video...all bits and pieces of our lives there.
"Old days, good times I remember. Fun days, filled with simple pleasures"
My brother stopped by the other day and we broke out in some spontaneous "I don't know what the hell you're supposed to call it but I think it's quite funny". We started off with some random stuff moved on to NWH's fuck the security guards, and then we just kept on going until we ended up with a fuck the security guards/mercy mercy crossover. Ridiculous but great fun!
This is a sample of what we usually do when we hang out, which is improvising random skit! The original track is twice as long...then we actually managed to record some things that sounded quite good but that you won't get to hear..
And just to make things clear I am NOT going to sing in Blue Fever, no need to worry, we will spare your ears!!!
