The Hapster

Gibs aka Harry the Hipster ---------> The Hapster

This came to me while writing her a Christmas card. The Hapster, what a brilliant name! Surely Hapster must mean something so I googled it. This is what I found:

Hapster

"A type hipster who lacks emo characteristics and is actually quite happy and goofy" Urban dictionary

It's perfect, that's exactly what our Hapster is, a goofy hipster!!

In with the new year and in with the new name, bye bye Gibs, hello HAPSTER!

The name really suits her don't you think? I might treat myself to some 50p chocolate for that, in a few hours when the shop's open...

Mixing Shit To A Nasty Blend

Blue Fever on..Posted by Gibson Mon, September 26, 2011 18:07:29

Kids, do not under any circumstances mix beverages! Vodka, wine and beer do not go good together in your stomach. Consequences of this mixing will leave you with not remembering big chunks of your night, puking on the train and falling asleep on the bus for an hour and missing your stop.

I was supposed to give you this advice yesterday but I was incapable of even waking up so bad was the hangover. Geeeez alcohol man…not good stuff at all.

London is burning, England is burning

London Riots

What the fuck is this? All London prison cells are full. Why? Are people fighting for a cause? Is it wild teenagers going berserk because they are angry at society? I've been thinking that something's about to go down, something to define our generation but I thought that revolution was in the air. This is not revulotion! This is greed! People of all ages are running around destroying their own town, even their own areas in their own town. They are running around looting shops, burning innocent people's homes and businesses down and having a laugh doing it.

I'm sitting here safe and sound in my flat watching the love of my life burn. I got back just in time yesterday, if I had stayed at Sagas a little longer it would have been hell getting back home and most likely I would have found myself in the middle of the riot in Clapham.

London is burning, in so many ways. As if that's not bad enough the fire has spread and inspired riots in the rest of england as well. Birmingham, Liverpool, Bristol, Manchester, it's such a mess!

"This fire is out of control we're gonna burn this city"

There's a riot going on and for what reason? None. It's not political, not social so what is it for? Nothing. It's all for nothing. All for nothing. Even if it was for a cause I have to agree with this:

I'm fucking tired of this world. Can we please make this stop!

"Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one"

I'm not promoting anarchy but if only people could love more and hate less. Let's bring back some peace love and understanding, that never gets old!

I urge everyone to "give the world some love today baby"!!

"Everybody's gonna love today"

I agree with who ever wrote this on the customer info board!

Peace, love and understanding. Get out there and get some random acts of kindness started! Let's get together and define our generation, define it as a loving one! Enough with this madness!

Peace

Panic On The Streets of London

Blue Fever on..Posted by Gibson Tue, August 09, 2011 02:10:05

I'll start this with The Simths song:

/// PANIC (ON THE STREETS OF LONDON)\\\

All hell is breaking loose in London and here I sit safe in my bed restless and sleepless. When Kaiser Chiefs released their song "I Predict A Riot" I don't think they had predicted anything like this. From what I've seen it's close to full on war on the streets and it can't be stopped. From the north (Tottenham) and currently spreading east through Hackney the police, who seem to stand dumbstruck and powerless, have not been able to restore order to the city. What started as a peaceful and friendly demonstration to make a point has developed to a rampage against police and authority and then evolved to an ancient plunder quest to loot as many footlockers, HMVs, local food and restaurant shops etc etc. Jesus Christ Londoners wake up and grow up! Think of the consequences for once, this is not the way to act, this is not the way to voice your opinion. What you've done/ are still doing is erasing those minor steps you've taken towards justice and equality. These riot makers have plundered, burnt and in general destroyed hard working peoples businesses and workplaces. How little shame and respect can you have in your body when you go and destroy another mans way of making a living in an already hard enough world. Everyone who has the slightest connections to London knows how fucking hard it is to earn those pounds. Money certainly doesn't grow on trees in London. So, as I assume that these youth riot maker aren't rich they should have a better understanding of their communities and neighbors.

In the end, and we all know how this is going to end…one way or another the authority will grasp control and there will be retribution which will not just affect them but all of us...

And In these wise words of The Clash I end this post:

/// I FOUGHT THE LAW AND THE LAW WON \\\

Fridays

Blue Fever on..Posted by JD Fri, August 05, 2011 18:07:35
//First I was like smiley ..then it was Friday..//

My life is very upside down you see. I have Sunday-Thursday off and then I work Friday and Saturday. Therefore, I hate Fridays. It's a little bit like being on holiday when everyone's working and then when a big party finally comes around you have to go to your nans funeral or something. This weekend is particularly shit because it's Field day. My friends are going and I'm gonna be stuck in Club NME hell. I hate Fridays. It wouldn't be that bad if I liked my job, but I don't. I'm done with it.

It's also quite tricky to live on £80 a week. So how about getting a new one? Haha I'm shit at applying for jobs but the circumstances are forcing me to do it. So here we go.

Running 'Sort out my life 1.1'

A little bit of The Wannadies -Bagsy me and Be a girl and a little bit of Doris - Did you give the world some love today, baby? usually does the trick. Through in some Villagers -Becoming a jackal, a whole lot of Fixers and I'm half way there. And some of the 40s - 60s classics I dropboxed Gibs the last night. Let's do this!!

Everyone's little sister

///zig-zag slag, desperate for a skin
eveyone's out, a battle one can't win

words of wisdom, acting as a skin
the Holy aurifies, sweet little sin

a burning sensation, a burning skin
gently stroking my lungs, gently stroking my within

on solid ground, ashes of a skin
inescapable gravities, ambiguous grins///

Psycho

Blue Fever on..Posted by JD Tue, July 12, 2011 02:10:36
Is it Truffle Shuffle tonight? I don't know, I decided not to go anyway because I have a feeling Kingston doesn't love me anymore. Maybe it's the other way around. But fear not, I can still make a fool of myself in private, listen the Sonics, Otis and Beach Boys and what not and dance around like this:

I still can and I will do... ..in my kitchen. Oh dear old Kingston town you know what you're missing!

Whatever happened to Go Go girls and Go Go dancing anyway? What did they turn it into huh? It's a shame..

As I'm writing I'm doing a little bit of this:
TWISTING THE NIGHT AWAAAAAAY
